Australian Cattle Dog
The Australian Cattle Dogs were originally herding dogs, used to running hefty distances over rough Aussie terrain. As such, they have strength and agility and are also intelligent. The Cattle Dog is a mid-sized, short-haired canine that usually has other brown or black hair interspersed through white coat.Australian Cattle Dogs are often referred to as a 'Red Heeler' or 'Blue Heeler'—depending on the colour of the dog's fur. This robust and energetic breed can often be protective of its owner and reacts well to training.
This breed can follow a normal dog diet although will require greater nutrition during working periods.
